THE INTERIOR DESIGN
Housed in a historic building from the late 19th century, originally built as a summer residence by Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, “A Ferreirinha”, much of its original architecture is preserved, including ornate ceilings, decorative tiles, large windows, and grand staircases. After various uses throughout the 20th century, the building was fully restored in 2023, transforming it into a luxury space that combines contemporary design, modern comfort, and exclusive experiences.
With meticulously decorated rooms and suites, each space has been designed to offer privacy, tranquility, and an authentic connection to the city, providing intimate, elegant, and inspiring environments.
Art is an integral part of the experience. Present throughout the hotel, from the rooms to the corridors and from the gallery to the restaurant, the private collection and temporary exhibitions create a continuous dialogue between contemporary art, both national and international, and the spirit of Porto. Every visit is a discovery, and every stay tells a unique story.
The experience is complemented by highly personalized service and an exceptional gastronomic offering, highlighted by a restaurant with an omakase concept, where the menu is entirely entrusted to the chef and prepared with the finest ingredients of the day, delivering an exclusive and intimate sensory experience.

The hotel’s private collection brings together leading figures from both international and Portuguese contemporary art. The minimalist and iconic aesthetic of Julian Opie, the vibrant chromatic narratives of Mickalene Thomas, and the material intensity and symbolic depth of Anselm Kiefer exist in harmonious dialogue with the modernist approach of Günther Förg. The presence of Portuguese artists such as Helena Almeida, Pedro Cabrita Reis, and Rui Chafes adds conceptual depth and poetic resonance to the collection, while the vibrant and globally recognised universe of Takashi Murakami introduces a striking contemporary energy.
